| I just obtained some rock-solid intel that should aid Serena in her search for her missing dad: He looks just like actor William Baldwin!
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Gossip Girl has tapped the former Dirty Sexy Money star to play the pivotal role of Serena and Erics estranged father, William van der Woodsen.
A show spokesperson declined to comment, but Im told Baldwin is booked to appear in at least three episodes; his first airdate is slated for April.
